What happens in Vegas may typically stay in Vegas, but Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) is breaking that rule just this once to share some amazing news. The global research and advisory firm hosted its annual Healthcare Staffing Summit on Nov. 1-3 in Las Vegas, hitting the jackpot with a record-breaking turnout of over 1,400 attendees as well as 76 sponsors and exhibitors.
Smashing attendance records for the second year in a row, the summit explored The Next Generation of Healthcare Staffing. SIA President Barry Asin kicked off the event with a timely discussion on artificial intelligence plus many more tech and non-tech transformations poised to influence the world of work. LeaderLogic CEO and Bestselling Author Nick Webb’s keynote provided insights and actionable steps on the new body of science around Chaotic Innovation.
In a first-ever collaboration, Modern Healthcare President Dan Peres participated in a Healthcare Staffing Summit leader panel. Moderated by CWS Council Vice President Dawn McCartney, panelists examined how healthcare systems are evolving. Additionally, Asin moderated two stellar executive panel discussions on the conference main stage featuring an impressive list of healthcare staffing titans.
Another highlight of SIA’s sold-out event was the TED Talk-style Executive Perspectives session moderated by SIA Chief Operating Officer Ursula Williams.
