Community

Caring for the communities we serve.

Across our nine offices, ޾ֲ fundraises for both national and local organizations, prioritizing organizations our employees are involved in.

Our corporate giving program involves donations, fundraising, and volunteering efforts to organizations and causes throughout the year. We also support organizations our employees are passionate about by providing support with promotion and donations.

So far in 2024, we’ve supported: Habitat for Humanity, the Horological Society of New York, Crisis, Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit, The Anti-Cruelty Society, South Middle School’s 2024 Science Olympiad Team, ProjectThorn, and Walk for Wellness House.

This organization provides scholarships to students and early-career journalists, and offers educational programs, training and other support to help aspiring and current AAPI journalists and media professionals advance their careers. Jessica Kim Cohen, a reporter at Modern Healthcare, has served on the board for two years.

We are proud to sponsor the College for Creative Studies Student Exhibition and support the education and achievement of the next generation of designers and innovators. The exhibit ran from May 13–27, 2022 and is now available as a public digital exhibition.

One of our team members at Crain’s Detroit Business, Allie Jacobs, ran a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s ResearcHERS program which supports women-led cancer research in May 2022. ޾ֲ helped Allie get to almost half of her fundraising goal in honor of her aunt who passed away after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

Moreover, as experts in their fields, our management is often sought after and found presenting at business forums and teaching in academia. ޾ֲ recognizes achievements in editorial, advertising and business through leading professional organizations and academic institutions.
