Nikki Pirrello is the President and Publisher of Pensions & Investments, published by Crain Communications. Nikki has been with P&I for more than 15 years and leads P&I鈥檚 business operations and strategy globally, overseeing the newspaper, digital, conferences, custom publishing and data and research products. In this role, she works closely with global asset managers and asset owners to develop solutions to engage P&I鈥檚 constituents and help further the mission of providing a secure retirement for participants and members around the world. 聽Nikki joined P&I/Crain Communications in 2007 and was promoted to COO for the brand in 2020. During her tenure, she has expanded P&I鈥檚 global conference business, developed and scaled the custom publishing and research capabilities for the brand and supported the launch of the P&I Research Center and the shift to a digital-first newsroom.

Previously Nikki served in senior marketing roles at Lebhar-Friedman, Inc., and Scholastic, Inc., and prior to that was on the agency side of the business producing corporate communications materials, videos, commercials, digital content and live events for a variety of clients in the finance and transportation industries.

Nikki has a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Drury University and currently resides in New York with her family who are all avid soccer players.
