With more than 20 years of Human Resources experience, Kallek joined Crain Communications Inc in 2008 and became the Chief Human Resources Officer in early 2014. An open and straightforward leader, Kallek is a tireless advocate for the talent at Crain and the overall employee experience. Her staff are responsible for the planning and implementation of human resources strategies for all Crain Communications’ offices worldwide.

Kallek earned her B.A. from Michigan State University and her Master’s degree from Wayne State University. She also serves on the board for the Detroit Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management.
