Chrissy Wolfram Taylor is the Senior Vice President of Editorial Operations at Automotive News and the Global Polymer Group. In this role, Taylor is responsible for the creation and implementation of editorial best practices that grow an engaged subscriber audience and accelerate the pace – and quality – of newsroom evolution. She joined »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ as Vice President of Editorial Operations for the Automotive News Group in October 2021.  

Before joining »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿, she was the Managing Editor of the Chicago Tribune where she oversaw coverage of the 2019 Chicago mayoral election, COVID pandemic and 2020 Presidential Election. In addition to driving daily coverage decisions, Taylor was responsible for setting the strategic agenda for audience growth and the redefinition of roles and responsibilities across the newsroom. Under Taylor’s leadership, the digital mission of the Chicago Tribune was augmented through the introduction of digital training programs, enhanced focus on audience data and internal changes in the newsroom’s daily workflow.  

Before moving to Chicago in 2018, Taylor was Vice President of Digital Publishing at the Hartford Courant. Her work included leading coverage of major stories in Connecticut, including the tragic shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School – for which the Courant was named a Pulitzer Prize finalist. She also spearheaded a multi-platform project celebrating the Courant’s 250th anniversary of continuous publication and substantially grew the Hartford Courant’s social footprint on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Taylor, from Bloomfield Hills, Mich., is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has a Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.Â
